Become a lucky charm with this pretty dip bowl featuring a four-leaf clover, dotted rim, and lovely green exterior. It is hand-painted in Portugal by a group of wonderful women, meaning that each bowl carries the brush strokes of the hand that painted it. Each bowl is therefore a true one-of-a-kind, and we find them absolutely enchanting!

At rice Living, we do a lot to make you feel at home, ensuring that your home has a personal touch. This ceramic series is no exception. We have named this beautiful series "Hand Painted" because it has been handcrafted and hand-painted by wonderful women in Portugal. This women-led business takes care of every aspect of production – from firing to painting to packaging – giving each creation a crafted touch. First, the clay is delivered in large tubes and then machine-cut into smaller pieces. These pieces are shaped using a mold called "biscuit." Then, the shaped pieces are fired in an oven for 9-10 hours at 1050 degrees, followed by a day to dry. After drying, they are carefully wiped by hand with a sponge to achieve a smooth surface. After another day of drying, each piece is meticulously hand-painted and glazed. They are then fired again in an oven, this time at 1030 degrees for 9 hours. This process can be repeated multiple times depending on the design. Finally, a logo is stamped on the finished product, which is then subjected to quality control before being packaged for distribution.
