Your espresso has never tasted better than from this cute, oval ceramic cup. It is hand-painted with a delicate design of red hearts and the word "LOVE" in the center. This cup is perfect for starting your day, whether with coffee or a refreshing ginger shot. The cup has been hand-painted by a group of wonderful Portuguese women, making each cup a true one-of-a-kind. We find it simply charming! To avoid possible ring marks or damage to wooden tables, we recommend using a coaster when you set your ceramic cup or mug down with hot drinks. Heat can sometimes cause moisture to seep into the surface, which can lead to stains over time. Protect your furniture with this simple measure!

At rice Living, we do a lot to make you feel at home and to ensure that your home has a personal touch. This ceramic series is no exception. We named this beautiful series "Hand-Painted" because it was handcrafted and hand-painted by wonderful women in Portugal. This women-led company takes care of every aspect of production – from firing to painting to packaging – which gives each creation a handcrafted touch. First, the clay is delivered in large tubes and then machine-cut into smaller pieces. These pieces are shaped using a mold called "biscuit." The shaped pieces are then fired in an oven at 1050 degrees for 9–10 hours, followed by a day of drying. After drying, they are carefully wiped by hand with a sponge to achieve a smooth surface. After another day of drying, each piece is carefully hand-painted and glazed. They are then fired again in an oven, this time at 1030 degrees for 9 hours. This process may be repeated several times depending on the design. Finally, a logo is stamped onto the finished product, which is then subjected to quality control before being packaged for distribution.
